Smartphone: Motorola renews its Droid line with three models

Technology: Associated with the operator Verizon, Motorola yesterday unveiled the Droid Ultra, Maxx and Mini. The first update on the fineness of the design of its screen 5 inches while the Droid Maxx Announces 48 hours of battery life.

The Droid are back at Motorola with 3 new models unveiled yesterday at the United States. There is first the Droid Ultra, equipped with a screen 5 inch HD and a sensor 10 megapixel and displays a 7.2 mm thickness.

Then comes the Droid Maxx with the same screen 5 inches but that all self-government with a 3,500 mAh battery intended to provide 48 hours of battery life. Droid Mini finally moves to the waist with an amoled display 4.3 inch screen.

These smartphones use a system on a chip X 8 Mobile Computing System designed by Motorola. The SoC contains 8 hearts 4 are dedicated to graphics applications and one is only used to manage passive voice recognition system (which we find in the Moto X). This chip is based on the architecture Krait of Qualcomm, but Motorola did not indicate by whom it is made.

Three smartphones will be available exclusively at Verizon from August 20 to 299 dollars for Droid Maxx, $ 199 for the Droid Ultra and $99 for Droid Mini with a two year subscription. It is unclear if these models will be available internationally. (Eureka Prese)
